Does anyone know if [ www.annualcreditreport.com ] is reliable ? I have a fear of websites stealing my information and all that stuff… and if not, does anyone know where to go to check your credit score? Thanks!

I use them once a year. Never had a problem.
Yes, it’s a government sponsored website. Just read this (also government website)http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre34.shtm
And you can pay to get your credit score itself through them (credit report is free once a year though)
AnnualCreditReport.com is trustworthy.
If you want your “real” FICO score, go to myFICO.com
