The score is not include in any free credit report. The score you pay usually right around $7.00 for. You don’t even get the score included when requesting a free credit report by mail. In the future, when you access your free credit report online, you can print it or do what I do and take screen shots on my computer for future reference.

If you’re turned down for any type of credit, you’re entitled to a free credit report.

Your best bet is to find a website that offers free credit reports. Usually, you have to give credit card information and start paying a certain fee if you don’t cancel after a certain period of time. Just make sure you cancel it before your time is up. Oh, and print the report.

I agree with you - we should be able to see our credit report for free, more often than once a year. … I can understand them not letting people look 10 times a day. But what’s wrong with letting us look every 3 months or so? … What’s worse is that for some kind of security reasons, I can’t even see my free credit report online! I think it’s because I reported a fraudulent charge in 2005.
Anyhow, I can tell you how I found out my credit score. I went to the bank and told them that I am having some legal problems and may need a loan for a few thousand dollars. (which was the truth) I made it clear that I was not applying for a loan at the time - I just needed to know if I would qualify in the event that I did need a loan. They went through the loan application process and when they got to the part where they check out my credit history, I just asked. They weren’t allowed to give me a copy of my credit report, but the guy did verbally tell me what debts I have and what my credit score was. … That’s the only way I have found to check on that for free.
