Is it too early to ask for a credit line increase?

I had a chapter 7 discharged in January of ’09. In February ’09 I did a free credit report check and my credit score was 634. I started receiving credit card offers and finally accepted one in May, with a $39 annual fee and a $300 credit limit. I’ve paid it off in full, on time, each month, and am considering asking them to increase my credit limit (in order to improve my credit score). If they increase the limit I will still continue to pay it in full each month. What are the chances of them saying yes? Thanks for your consideration.
