What Should I Do?

I’m a 21 year old female who has had bad credit for a long time because of my “dad”. He has supposedly changed. I want to get a school loan among other things, so I went to get my free annual credit report, only to be turned down because I could provide information on a mortgage loan taken out on my name listed on a street that I have never lived on. I’m so tired of my credit. What should I do about this i’m 100% positive that it’s him. Since I was 9 i’ve had phone bill on my name, by my 18th birthday I was contacted about 9,000 dolar credit card bill, when I have never owned a credit card. Any Advice?

You need to contact the police and file a report. You need to contact these creditors and prove to them that you were 9 years old when these accounts were taken out in your name.
Dont feel guilty. Your father is a total jerk for doing this to you.

My dad did a similar thing, phone the credit bureau and complain say it is through no fault of your own, it may be hard to explain how much of a jerk your dad is but somethimes it is worth it, they didn’t ask me to go into much details but I ended having a break down on the phone lol because my dad disowned me and was very nasty.
Hope this helps.

Contact the police and file a report. If your father used your name to rack up the debt he is guilty of fraud.
