Possible identity theft?

I have NEVER taken out a loan!!! And I’ve always rented! What do I do? Contact Equifax…or someone else? Could this be identity theft?

It is very possible you are a victim of identity theft or it could be a simple mix up. I would try to view your credit report to find out what is going on.
You can obtain a free credit report at. This is actually free with no strings attached. By law you are entitled to one free credit report a year.
If you have problems obtaining your report due to the security questions they ask since some stuff is not even yours you can contact the 3 repositories directly.

If you find out you were a victim contact the Federal Trade Commission at. You will need to fill out an ID Theft Affidavit.
I would enroll in a good identity theft protection. One that monitors your credit and does all the restoration work if you become a victim. I use SOLUS ID. The website is.
