You are entitled to a free report once a year. since there are three reporting agencies, you can ask for a report from one,, wait four months and get a report from the second one and so on. I get a report three times a year that way.
They all report the same stuff, so there is no need to ask all three agencies for a report at the same time. And don’t fall for their inducement to pay for your credit score. You have no need for it. You should check your free credit report to make sure there are no mistakes. If you find anything wrong, notify the agencies right away.
