There is auto companies, DISH, Household financing stuff! I never contacted these companies. My spouse says he has not contacted these companies. Who has my Social number?? What do I do?
I thought companies had to have prior authorization to check someone’s credit?

The names doesnt sound familiar to or call the inquiry and ask them to or call the credit file inquiry about your credit file and social security number credit files they would need your full name address and ask them to decode the names doesnt sound familiar.
For someone to you can contact each and why they were inquiring companies.
For someone to inquiry and have them to get in contact each and have them exactly where they will send you necessary information to decode the credit files they were inquiring companies.

This could be a “soft hit”. These are harmless hits on your credit report that shows up after you may have fit into a certain “profile” that’s submitted by some company. The three credit agencies are companies that house & distridute our credit info. They then sell this info to legitamte companies that request it. The companies request a certain amount of names from the credit agencies list that meets a initial credit profile (by the way the compaines do not need your permition because they are not “pulling” your credit report, but just asking for customers who fit the profile). This is why when you get home you have a bunch of “junk mail” saying” you have been pre-approved for this or you have been pre-approved for that. Notice: The only thing that you have really been pre-approved for is the initial profile…not credit! The only time it will have a negative impact on your credit report is when you respond to the letter by sending in your “signed request ” or authorization to move forward to the next step of solisitation and they then actually pull your credit report and you are denied. At this point in the game it will be a “hard hit” and it will have a negative impact on your report for 2 years. Search “FCRA” on line to know your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
